Culture & Business Fund Scotland programme CLOSED FOR 2022/23
Due to a cut in funding from the Scottish Government, we regret that the Culture & Business Fund Scotland (CBFS) is now closed for the remainder of the 2022/23 financial year. This means that we are not able to accept new applications, nor applications from current CBFS recipients seeking year two or year three funding.
We understand the difficulties that this enforced early closure of the CBFS may cause, both in terms of maintaining existing and securing new business partnerships. We also appreciate the challenges that this presents for delivering activities set out in your existing or potential applications to the fund. We have been advised that an alternative source of support may be found through Creative Scotland’s Open Fund, the details of which can be found on this link.
We will be working with the Scottish Government and other key stakeholders to ensure that the value and impact that CBFS supported projects deliver is fully understood and will share any information about the future status of the fund with you as soon as possible.

From creative spark to outstanding delivery
The Culture & Business Fund Scotland enables businesses and arts or heritage organisations to come together and build effective, sustainable partnerships, bringing creative projects – large and small – vividly to life.
Funded by the Scottish Government via Creative Scotland and Historic Environment Scotland, and managed by Arts & Business Scotland, the CBFS provides critical £ for £ match funding – making the journey from a great idea, to a great project, possible.
